Throwback Thursday

Family Photo
Me. Papi. Carmelito. Tanya.

Ah, these were the good old days when things were simple! Tell me this picture doesn't bring you back to the 80's where wood paneling was everywhere. Six Flags Great Adventure was the place to go. Men wore tiny shorts (yes, my Pops is wearing shorts, lol) and kids could run around in their underwear without anyone thinking twice (Sorry, Tinny!).

We were a happy bunch here! I'm sure us kiddies were up to something, we usually were :)

Throwback Thursday

Family Photo
Bro.Sis.Me.

Every single time I look at this photo, I cannot not laugh. It is hysterical! Definitely not at the time by looking at my and my brother's face but seeing my sister smile like that while torturing us is just too funny! That is who she was when were growing up. The little pain-in-my-tuckus rebel! I am happy to report though that we all get a long much better as adults :)

Happy Thursday!

Throwback Thursday

I'm taking it way back to share with you some of my fondest and not so pretty memories! It may even help you remember a few things you have forgotten about.

First up has got to be...

Dopey 108

"Dopey 108" doesn't mean anything to you but it means a lot to my family. For those of you that haven't had the opportunity to experience Disney World, their parking lot is split up into sections and each section is designated a Disney character with a number. This obviously would help you with remembering where you parked because that place is just ginormous! Well "Dopey 108" is the section where we parked our car for our very first visit to Disney World back in the early 90's. Ever since that 1st day, we have some how managed to remember it. In fact, my sibs and Mom on occasion will remind each other via text, email, Facebook or by any other means. It's our little game and each time we are always laughing and trying to beat each other into saying first. Our only rule is that it has to be over a week since the last time we say it. Goofy? (pun intended) Yes! But those were some great times and it's a little something that we can share for the rest of our lives even when noone else understands. :)

So for you Tanya, Mello and Mom...

What is one thing you can remember from your childhood that only you and your family share as an inside joke? Please share!

2012 Goals & Ideas

HAPPY 2012 EVERYONE!

Well as always, what comes with a new year are new goals and aspirations. I am no different. I have resolutions myself but as I have gotten older, I have believed them to be more promises that are meant to be broken than an actual goal. And if you have followed my blog at all, you will know that I have a lot of unfinished business. I start things only to quit them. I do know that I fail at many things but I like to focus on what I accomplish.

So... I have been thinking about some things that I would like to accomplish this year. I don't know them all so my list will be growing throughout the year. Let's see how many I can scratch off!

2012 Goals & Ideas

Get healthy - Physically, Emotionally, Financially & Spiritually

Learn to decorate cookies with Royal Icing by 02/14/12.

Make homemade gifts or buy local.

Start & finish my craft wall.

Learn to sew with a machine and by hand.

Convert our office to the playroom.

Convert an empty spot in the basement to be our office.

Finish decorating and organizing our bedroom.

Remodel our bathroom - already in the works

Build my Scentsy team.

Surpass my Scentsy personal goals.

Finish a project I started but never finished.

Since I have shared some of my goals with you, how about sharing yours. What are some attainable goals that you have come up with for 2012? Please share!

Thank you and God Bless!
