How To... French Braid

As most of you know, I am absolutely clueless about things to do with my hair. Because it is so thin, fine, frizzy and curly (sometimes), I am intimidated by it and really just end up putting product in my hair and walking out the door. This of course, tortures my sister who was born with the stylist touch. But lately as I am trying to deal with what I have and put an effort to my look from head to toe, I am researching not so new ways to "upgrade" my do. So I went to my old and trusty friend... YouTube. More specifically, I went to YouTube to research French Braid tutorials. As expected, there was no shortage of video tutorials to help this poor soul out.

Here all along I always thought doing a French braid was impossible! I was so totally wrong! Now it isn't the easiest thing to do to your own hair but with practice it can be easily perfected.

From watching numerous videos, I have learned a few things:

1. Practice. Practice. Practice.
2. You CAN do a French Braid on wet hair but it may be best to straighten your hair first
3. The braid will rarely be perfect but will still look polished and beautiful. This should help perfectionists like me.

Below are some tutorials I found that I will be using to perfect my French Braiding skills...
