Last year I had just about shoulder length hair and I only grew out my hair for the wedding so I was dying to get a haircut. Since the day after the wedding was the only time I was in my hometown I had to do it then...So I had it scheduled for 1:15pm.
As mentioned in previous posts, my hair was not exactly what I would call great hair. Sure the length was nice but my hair never worked the same way twice. I was always fighting limp, frizzy, thin, curly hair every day. So it was about time for the chop.
For the chop, I decided to go to the same place I went to for my wedding day make over -- TC Salon Spa in Bethlehem, PA. I also chose the perfect stylist...Nicole :). *Reviews coming soon*
Below are a few BEFORE pictures. Sorry they aren't close up but you can see what I am talking about anyway. These photos were taken at my work shower on 9/02/09
Let's put it this way, I've been growing my hair out for a year and I am trimming a lot but I still have 7 months to go and I'm soooo ready for the PWC!
ReplyDeleteI love it! I actually went in for a trim a couple of weeks ago and they cut it shorter (like above the collarbones) than I wanted it... but I actually really like it! And am thinking that maybe I don't need long hair for a wedding in 2010.
ReplyDelete@Courtney - It's funny how things work out like that. When I went in for my trial and was discussing with my stylist the PWC she discussed a different option I could have taken that would have included the short hair. I just didn't want to take the risk.
ReplyDeleteGreat haircut...love the look!
ReplyDeleteOh I love it! Us curly haired girls have to stick together, right?! :) Congrats on the wedding by the way!!
ReplyDeleteI also started a wedding planning only focused blog, so if you want to come by there too that would be fabulous! It's just getting started so give me a bit to get it in order: www.peaandcarrot.wordpress.com
It looks great! I wish I would have had mine chopped right after the wedding. I had to tote the heavy hair around Mexico. I went this weekend and got mine done - yay!
ReplyDeleteThat looks fabulous!
ReplyDeleteI love the new hair cut! Very cute!
ReplyDeleteLove love love the cut! I am dying to get my hair cut...and I'm still about 8 months out from the wedding...AH!
