Nothing like waiting until the last minute to get all the stuff you need to attend a wedding! Since it has been over a year since I attended a wedding, I had nothing really to wear. I do have this beautiful Max & Cleo cobalt blue pleated ruffle collared dress (say that 10x) that has been sitting in the closet for the last 2 years as my "goal" dress but at size 10 it was still a little too tight, so I had to start from scratch.
It was time to drag my Momma to go shopping! Surprisingly, I found the dress I needed at The BonTon and I only tried on 2 dresses, with the dress below being the first dress I tried. Unfortunately, I didn't find any shoes at The BonTon that fit properly, so I ventured to DSW. They have more of a selection for dress shoes and luckily they had exactly what I wanted, a silver shade shoe that wasn't on the more white side but on the more gray/pewter side. Not to mention, this shoe was so comfortable! I should have no problem dancing the night away!
So what do you think?
I honestly think the picture doesn't do this dress any justice! It really is a cute and flattering dress, giving my body a little more shape without showing unwanted "things". Also, the shoe is a little darker in person being more on the pewter side than light silver.

2. Nine West - Sharina in Silver/Silver (purchased at DSW)
On my shoe quest, I also found at DSW a cute clutch to match the color of my shoes that would be big enough to hold my cell and a few other items but small enough so it wasn't overwhelming. I purchased a gray Lulu Townsend Minaudiere Clutch (photo not found). I still have to find a set of earrings. When I originally was thinking of a lighter silver, I had a few in mind but since I changed the shoe & clutch to a darker shade, I don't really have jewelry for that.
Now for make-up.
I asked my lovely friends and fam on FB what they suggested for make-up and the consensus was a light smokey eye, light rose cheek and nude/natural lip. So I will be shopping the aisles of Ulta for the right shade of gray eyeshadow. However, I will stick with my trusty (and fav) blush from NARS in Orgasm (luv the name, hehe), my BB cream Two Faced in Nude Glow and my Falsies mascara by Maybelline.
I will try and take as many pictures of it all together as I can.
But in the mean time, tell me, how did I do?
Love it all! Can't wait to see it all together :)
